Mike Middlebrooks, Senior Pastor
Mike Middlebrooks has been the Senior Pastor since October 2004. Prior to coming to Grand View, Mike served in Youth Ministry in Texas and Oklahoma. Mike holds his BA from The University of Texas at Arlington and his Masters from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike's hobbies include golf, minor construction, and coaching/helping his son's various Upward Sports teams. His music interests vary from contemporary Christian, country, to jazz.
Mike is married to Donna. Donna is a part-time private voice instructor at North Mesquite High School and a full-time mom. They have one child Zachary who loves sports, school, and friends!
Mike's passion is preaching and pastoring the church. His preaching style is relaxed and conversational, and his pastoring is caring and compassionate.

Mark Grissom, Associate Pastor
Mark Grissom has served here at Grand View since January 2005. Mark has served in several churches before coming to GVBC. Mark holds his BA from The University of Texas at Austin and his Masters from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mark enjoys hiking, reading, learning new carpentry skills, and playing disc golf. Mark believes that his family is the coolest and takes every opportunity to spend time with them.
Currently on Mark's ipod: Not quite sure (there's a great mixture though). But he is listening to Willie Nelson, David Crowder Band, and Coldplay in his car.
Mark's passion for ministry is the people that make up the church. His hopes are to see the people of God grow to become more Christlike daily and share their faith. He has developed a strong affinity for hospital ministry.

Jeffrey Bowling, Minister of Music
Jeffrey is the minister of music at Grand View Baptist Church and has served at GVBC for 7 years. He directs the adult choir, the praise team as well as assists with the childrens' choirs. Jeffrey is also the associate choir director at Dr. John Horn High School in Mesquite. He has worked in the Mesquite school district for 9 years. Jeffrey holds a bachelor in music education, a bachelor in piano performance, and a masters in choral and orchestral conducting.
He is married to Vonda, his beautiful wife, and they have 2 boys. He loves to go camping with the family and LSU football (Geaux Tigers!).

Suzanne Massey, Minister to Children
Suzanne Massey has been an educator for over 30 years and serves as our Children’s Minster. She is the mother of two and grandmother to 1 grandson. She grew up in East Texas, but has called the Garland/Mesquite area home for the past 32 years. Suzanne’s bachelor degree, master’s degree, and post graduate work focused on family life and childhood education. She is a frequent speaker and trainer for conferences throughout the metroplex area.
Suzanne also serves as our staff liason with our Women’s Ministry, teaching small group women’s discipleship classes on Sunday mornings and evenings.
Suzanne’s pastimes include reading, working on projects around her home, and traveling.

Pauline Henderson, Administrative Assistant
Pauline has faithfully served here at Grand View as our administrative assistant since February 2003. Pauline was born and raised here in the city of Dallas. Pauline is married to Jerry and has a son, Craig, who is an officer in the Navy. Pauline and Jerry also have four other members of their immediate family who don't know they're animals...2 cocker spaniels and 2 cats.
Pauline's favorite Scripture passage has always been Proverbs 3:5-6. She knows this promise of God to be true in many areas of her life and also seeing God direct her path here to Grand View. Email: paulinegvbc@gmail.com
